January 23rd was our 27th Wedding Anniversary. We had planned to go away for a couple of days after we took Tyler to the airport, but with the early arrival of our new grandson it was necessary to postpone our get-a-way. We went the 8th through the 10th of February. Our destination was Potowatami Inn at Pokagon State Park near Angola, IN, just south of the Michigan border. This was also our honeymoon spot. We had returned once before.
We have been so utterly blessed. Our trip was a gift, and this great Scrabble board was also a gift.
He laid out all of his letters, AGAIN!
It was fun to surprise some of the staff from Gateway Woods who were also at the Inn for their retreat. We first ran into some of them at Los Limos, a Mexican restaurant in Angola, where we also stopped for supper, and then at various nooks and crannies of the Inn. Following are a few shots of the Inn, including all of the snow that fell while were were tucked away in this cozy little setting.

They also have a great pool, sauna, hot tub, toboggan run and trails.
Checking out after a wonderful couple of days together. We ended our trip with a little shopping trip and supper at Chipolte's before heading home.
