This Year's Blessings--The Short Version

Steve and I celebrated 28 years of marriage in 2011, while Steve's parents marked 60 years together.  We celebrated together with the siblings in Detroit in June. Steve and the boys traveled to Louisville, KY for the Farm Show and toured the Slugger's Museum while there. Whitney traveled to Japan in April for six weeks. We welcomed Abby Klopfenstein to our family circle when she became engaged to Tyler in May.  Steve and I traveled to TX for church.  We have enjoyed weddings and trips to the lakes, time with family and friends. Cecily graduated with a BS in nursing and passed her boards in August.  Jane's Mom turned 90 on November 25th and the family said good-bye to her brother, Virgil, in July.  Whitney is a senior and had surgery this month to repair a torn ACL--volleyball injury.  Besides volleyball she has enjoyed art classes, drama, piano lessons, ski trips, family and girls camps, babysitting and keeping in touch with friends. We finished harvesting in December this year!  God is Faithful and WE BELIEVE in the gift of JESUS
Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year!
