Master Bathrrom Remodel
Last summer Cecily began to overhaul the Master Bathroom at our house.
She stripped the wallpaper, I painted the walls, Tyler tore out the carpet and we had tile put in on the floor. Steve also put tile on the walls and ceiling above the shower himself.
I wish I had a before and after picture of the walls. That was quite a project in and of itself--Brenda Fiechter helped us out with smoothing out the walls with a thin layer of drywalling mud.
Since Tyler was in New Zealand and getting the foam off of the floor board was very time consuming and took a lot of elbow grease, Sam Kaufman gave us a hand over his winter break--college students can always use a little spending money. Whitney and I were very relieved to have some help.
Steve Scheitlin from Klopfenstein Furniture laid the floor tile in January. We discovered from John that you can put heating coils under the tile. What a treat!!!
I wish I could tell you that the job is completely finished, but Steve still has the new floor boards to finish.
This is our almost finished, but still very clean and cozy newly remodeled bathroom. Thanks to lots of skilled (and not so skilled hands).
